| Description: | Yasmin White is a blend of Sauvignon Blanc and a small amount of Emerald Riesling grapes harvested in the winery's vineyards in Binyamina and the Jezreel Valley. Wine maker notes Flash-pasteurized using an in-line procedure, which heats the juice for a few seconds prior to fermentation. Fermentation proceeds very slowly over one month at cool temperatures, ensuring that the aromas are retained in the fermenting wine. Technical notes 12% abv. Food pairing A delightful reception wine, and a perfect match with passed hors d'oeuvres and fish dishes. Producer Located in Israel's Hefer Valley the Recanati Winery is a showcase winemaking facility equipped with the most innovative technology available today. Owned by Lenny Recanati a native of Israel with ancestral roots stretching back to Italy the winery is the fruit of Lenny's lifelong dream to produce truly worldclass wines. Chief winemaker is Gil Shatsberg a graduate of the U.c. Davis wine program. Formerly a winemaker at Israel's Amphorae and Carmel wineries Gil brings to Recanati proven expertise in his field allied to a devotion to artistry and craftsmanship in winemaking. |
