Hubert Lamy Chassagne Montrachet le Concis du Champs (750ML)
From Chassagne-Montrachet
Vintage: | 2021 |
---|---|
Description: | 91 Jm / 89 Bh. Not frosted, yielding 40 hl/ha, registering just over 13% alcohol. More lemon than lime in colour, with a much riper bouquet, including some yellow fruit. This is more in the juicy style rather than chiselled with nonetheless a fine acidity behind. Slightly saline, the Concis des Champs certainly makes one salivate. Fine persistence, I like this more this year than sometimes in the past. In fact, this may be Olivier's best Concis des Champs in bottle to date. Drink from 2025-2028. Tasted: November 2023.--Jasper Morris, Inside Burgundy. Tasting note: Firm reduction suppresses everything but a hint of petrol character. On the palate though there is good freshness and verve to the caressing and generous medium-bodied flavors that coat the mouth with dry extract, all wrapped in a mildly austere, lingering and sappy finale. This too could be enjoyed young. Outstanding.--Allen Meadows, Burghound. |
