| Description: | 92 pts 'Editors' Choice' Wine Enthusiast May 2021 This distinctly Tassie Pinot offers a bouncy red cherry tone in the fore backed by hints of cinnamon and earthy spice. The palate is medium in weight, lifted by tart cranberry fruit and crunchy acidity. Silky tannins allow the fruit to shine brightly through the gaps. 92 pts Australian Wine Companion Aug 2021 60/40% Tamar Valley/East Coast. Kudos to Tom Wallace and the Brown Family for making delicious Tassie pinot at a bargain price. They tell me they can still make money, though I have no idea how. This is a refreshing lunchtime pinot, bubbling away with poached strawberries, morello cherries and wild blackberries of surprising persistence. Tangy acidity is a given in Tasmania, fine tannins are a bonus. |
