Its minerality comes forward on the finish, mingling with edgy tannins, yet the palate remains wonderfully refreshed through it all. This is a beautiful interpretation of Tavernelle terroir. Mocali is a small family-run estate whose history involves a founding member of the Brunello di Montalcino association, and an important supplier to producers until 1990 when the winery began their own bottlings.
