| Description: | 97 JS / 94 Ko / 17+ Jr. #59 James Suckling's Top 100 Italian Wines of 2023. Extremely floral with violets and roses. Orange peel. Forest strawberries. Medium to full body. Very fine tannins and a long and bright finish. Racy and focused. Energetic. Like a Cannubi. Best after 2027.-James Suckling. Forest floor, toasted hazelnut, grilled porcini and dried herb aromas form the nose. The vibrant palate has more expression, and features juicy black cherry, crushed raspberry and anise before a menthol finish. It's young and primary, with racy acidity and tightly wound tannins. Drink 2029–2039. Abv: 14% Kerin O'Keefe. La Morra. Lustrous mid ruby with orange tinges. A little bit grubby/reduced, which only slowly lifts with aeration.
