| Description: | The greatness of the 2013 vintage is certainly on display with this beautiful, old school, take no prisoners Nebbiolo. Certainly not what I would call a "sipper", this is a serious wine that begs for a good meal, and even better, another 5 years in the cellar. Perfectly balanced, full of wonderful Nebbiolo fruit, with vibrant acidity and a solid backbone of round, dusty tannins. With a few years in the cellar, this will be better than many Baroli that sell for more than twice the price. Seriously good wine and a fantastic value! Max recommended! |
