| Description: | Napa winemaker Anna Monticelli returns to her Italian roots to make this Arneis from Piemonte. She does a great job too, because this is everything you'd expect from Arneis, with a little extra kick. There's a delightful nuttiness on the nose with aromas of roasted almonds and cashew nuts, as well as green apples and grapefruit, with the acidity on the palate high enough to balance the rich, spicy mouthfeel. Very food friendly – think fish, white meat, or even rabbit. |
