Region Description. \"Cachaca\" is a Brazilian spirit known also as \"aguardente\" or \"pinga\". It is the result of distilled fermented sugarcane juice. It is used in Caipirinhas and tropical drinks and drunk pure. There are aged varieties (gold or dark) and unaged (white). |
