| Description: | The 2017 Brut Zéro Le Clos des Trois Clochers was picked from a single parcel of Chardonnay vines in Villers Allerand. The base wines spent nine months in oak. The nose opens with mossy, creamy notes of confit lemon alongside lemony, buttery raw short crust pastry. The brisk mousse disperses rich notes of melted butter and a miso-like saltiness. Freshness counters this and allows impressions of chalk. Ripe, mellow apple emerges with more temperature and the finish, marked by mossiness and salty miso is a little diffuse. Rather gastronomic. Dosage is 1gr/L. Disgorged: January, 2023. |
