| Description: | Alipus Mezcals are from a tight-knit group of family producers. The San Andreas line in particular comes from the highland properties of Don Valente Angel where the soils and 5000 foot elevation make vegetation scarce. Nonetheless, the agave that does take root is particularly concentrated and highly specific in its grassy tones and mineral backbone. Decidedly a project of terroir, and an excellent entry into sipping Mezcal. – ABV: 47.5% |
