| Description: | Barenjager, which translates to "bear hunter," was popularized in the 15th century (perfected in the 18th Century) by an Eastern Prussian bear trap company ".in an effort to end the struggle between man and bear." Originally formulated to aid hunters attract bears and lure them from their dwellings, Barenjager is now made with neutral grain alcohol, honey (300 grams of pure honey per Liter) and other natural ingredients. The aromas lead with subtle sweet, caramelized honey with back notes of clean spice and straw. The taste profile follows suit, rich, delicious, complex honey niceties in a luxuriant mouth-feel.
