The 2017 Shiraz Bella's Garden is a real gem and well worth seeking out for readers who love high-class Barossa Shiraz. Deep purple-hued with a kaleidoscope-like array of red and black fruits, ground pepper, spice, herbes de Provence, and cured meats, this beauty hits the palate with no hard edges, remarkable purity of fruit, and a great finish. It's impossible to resist today, and I see no need to delay gratification. Drink now2029. Wine Tasting Notes. Black with deep, deep red rim. Restrained on release, with deep red fruits, dusty cinnamon spice, liquorice and earth. Underneath are subtle notes of smoky cedar and chocolate. Tight and elegant from the start. Fine red fruits that gently roll through the palate, with earthy cedary notes. The fine tannins and acid support the mid- to late-palate and slowly all of the flavor and structure subsides evenly after a 60 second finish.
