| Description: | With grapes sourced from the renowned Edna Valley, this Chardonnay exhibits all of the traits that make Chardonnay so justly famous. To ensure complexity, the wine was partially barrel fermented in new French oak barrels and aged sur-lies. To bring out the great fruit flavors, the balance was fermented slowly in stainless steel. This combination results in an extremely well-balanced and well-integrated wine. Partial malolactic fermentation adds layers of creaminess and depth which are balanced by crisp acidity and bright flavors of apple blossom and white peach. |
