| Description: | Manufacturer's Notes: Founded in 1830, Talisker is from the oldest distillery on the Isle of Skye, beside the shore of Loch Harport in the jagged shadow of the peaks of the Cuillin. Made by the sea in every sense, the powerful peat smoke and maritime character of Talisker reflect its storm-lashed surroundings. For the Distiller's Edition, the Master Distiller hand selected a small number of casks for double maturation in Amoroso seasoned American oak. Slightly richer than the original bottling, the Amoroso seasoned casks impart a wonderfully rounded and luscious, fruity sweetness that perfectly complement the crisp, dry peat-smoke and familiar pepperiness of Talisker.
