Description: | About the Region:. The Right Banks of Bordeaux are beautiful blends that consist mostly Merlot, making some of the most sought-after wines in the world. The moderate climate of Bordeaux creates medium plus tannins and a stilted structure accent very earthy soil, tobacco, tar along with blackberry, raspberry, and plum on the nose and palate. Tasting notes:. Nice presentation, intense purple color with deep purple edges around the glass. The nose progressively opens out to evoke leather and undergrowth with hints of coffee, chocolate and crystallized cherry on the palate, a supple attack, developing into harmonious sensations of density and very discernible tannins on the finish. A wine to drink now or to keep 5-10 years. Light to start with a long finish. Had nice strong tannins that cut through beef & truffle dishes. Composition: Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. Alcohol: 14%. |
