| Description: | Byron Kosuge wanted to make a Napa version of Beaujolais, so he grafted Gamay cuttings on to Pinot Noir vines at The Shop vineyard near Napa's Carneros Resort & Spa in 2014. Light by red wine standards, strong by Gamay standards. Pretty but serious, with fresh, juicy aromas of raspberries, blackberries, pomegranates, peppercorns, roses, and dried herbs. |
