| Description: | The Bovio family winery has deep roots in the Barolo region, with the original small winery in the 1950s. Starting in La Morra, they renovated their operation in the 1970s and gradually acquired plots in a number of vineyard districts of reknown: Annunziata, Rocchetevino, Arborina, Gattera (La Morra) and Parussi (Castiglione Falletto). Today the 3rd and 4th generation runs the winery. This riserva bottling comes from a top selection from their plots. "The 2017 Barolo Riserva De-Rieumes is nicely done. Sweet pipe tobacco, cedar, mint, licorice and dried flowers add complexity to a Barolo that shows a good bit of character given its age.
