Description: About the Icons. Coda di Volpe is an ancient white grape varietal about which Pliny the Elder speaks in his "Naturalis Historia". Grown primarily in Campania, it takes its name from the Italian meaning ‘tail of the fox', because the grape bunches, when fully ripe, grow long and narrow at the bottom, resembling a bushy fox tail.
