| Description: | It's rare to find a wine of such quality for the price, especially from the Willamette Valley. Holloran handcrafts wines from estate owned vineyards, emphasizing low yields and site expression. 2021 experienced a heat dome in June, but fortunately, the berries had just set. Once picked, de-stemmed, gently pressed, and fermented, the wine aged for 18 months in French oak. Broad flavors of black cherry, dried orange peel, and cinnamon come into focus on the palate and linger well after the wine is gone. |
