| Description: | Instead of doing two separate bottlings: Dolcetto di Dogliani (from vineyards near the cellar) and Dolcetto dAlba from the Ginestra vineyard, Clerico declassifies his fruit, producing a Dolcetto di Langhe. Anything but average, Clerico's Visadi goes great with red meat or medium-aged cheeses. Vinification and ageing: Maceration with the skins in temperature-controlled stainless for 4-5 days, maturation in barriques (part new, part old) for 5-6 months. 2,300 cases produced. Region Description. Langhe is a hilly region located along the river Tanaro. Famous for its Barolo the Langhe is shaped like a peninsula and includes all of the winegrowing municipalities of the province of Cuneo. |
