| Description: | 2016 Cave Blend Napa Valley. Varietals: 54% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot, 3% Petit Verdot, 1% Cabernet Franc, 1% Sangiovese, 1% Zinfandel. Tasting Notes. Quite possibly our most popular red blend, the bouquet is complex. Aromatics of a blueberry basket, ginger cookie, sliced baby bella mushrooms and a shave of cocoa jump out of the glass. The flavors are pleasant, showcasing notes of muddled bing cherries, graham cracker and rhubarb with juicy acidity, balanced fruit forward and oak structure. The finish is medium length with great potential for pure sipping enjoyment as well as a wide range of food pairing options. Drink now for the next 5-8 years. |
