| Description: | 90 Jm / 89+ Wa. Rich dense purple, from the nose you know that the grapes got ripe but there is absolutely no feeling of excess. A little bit tougher on the palate, firm tannins, and this will need time to integrate. The fruit is riper but the structure even fresher. Drink from 2026-2032. Tasted: November 2022.--Jasper Morris, Inside Burgundy. The 2020 Santenay Clos des Hâtes is firmer and more structured than the Chassagne, exhibiting aromas of plums, wild berries, sweet spices, peonies and orange zest.
