| Description: | For four generations the Pavelot family has farmed a little less than 12 hectares predominantly in Savigny Les Beaune but with a few holdings in Beaune and Corton. The majority of vines are between 200 and 400m elevation and the Pavelots make few blends – they want to express individual terrors as much as possible. Called "overachievers who tower over their neighbors" by the Wall Street Journal, the wines rarely see more than 30% new oak. |
