| Description: | Domaine Fichet produces powerful, classically styled Chardonnay from outstanding terroir in the village of Meursault. Many of the parcels are situated on the lower slope, offering power and dark mineral tones to the wines. There is always an intense stoniness with these wines that represents the true soul of great Meursault. The Meursault AC bottling is based on three beautiful parcels on the southern slopes of the village: les Cloux (60 year old vines), les Chaumes de Narvaux, just above Bouchères and Gouttes d'Or, Limouzin, directly below Genevrières, plus a little Criots. Flavors of baked apple and pear with limestone notes, honey, and sweet vanilla and baking spice. |
