| Description: | Clos des Fous was founded in 2008 by Pedro Parra (a well-respected agronomist), Francois Massoc, Paco Leyton and Albert Cussen. The four friends set out to prove that Chilean wine can exhibit an authentic pronounced sense of place. "Subsollum" is 92% Pinot Noir and 8% Cinsault brown very near the coast and vinified in concrete and stainless steel. It is sheer in the glass with aromas of flint and juicy mixed red fruits. The palate is impressively layered, complex, and concentrated. |
