| Description: | 4 ½ Stars 2020 Platter's South African Wine Guide Bordeaux white 17 (90 pts) combines (older) barrel-fermented semillon with 30% unoaked sauvignon to add lime & Granny Smith apple freshness to rich honeyed texture. Seamless after 8 months in older oak, also more complex than 16 (88 pts), with pinch of white pepper on finish. 91 pts Wine Advocate March 2020 Made of 70% Sémilon and 30% Sauvignon Blanc, the nose of the 2017 Natura Vista is bright with oak spices, waxy melon rind, white peach skin and a fresh citrus peel essence that jump out of the glass. The medium to full-bodied palate is clean and weighty with a textured and spicy mouthfeel. The wine lingers with persistence and continues to evolve on the palate after it has the left the mouth. This bottling is a beautiful wine that I recommend. |
