| Description: | Decanter 95 Points - "This flirts shyly at coffee, forest floor and tea on a background of strawberry and pressed florals. Linear and still rather austere, it will need a couple of years to reveal its full spectrum of charms. Tingly acidity gives a mouthwatering sensation and refined chalky tannins frame the whole. Lingers with liquorice and hints of tar. At the southern extreme of Rocche di Castiglione, Odderos vineyards spill into the commune of Monforte dAlba in a particularly sandy spot of this Mga. The steep, southeast facing slope sits at the edge of a cliff directly above native woodland." |
