| Description: | A very talented family producing Estate wines from the Yakima Valley. Hugh and Kathy Shiels planted the vineyard in 1992, and their first vintage was in 2001. Their daughter Kelly has been the winemaker since 2009, and literally grew up learning how to express their unique slice of Washington through grapes. This Riesling has a rich, lush nose of honeyed stonefruit and almond with a clean, expressive palate balancing intense flavors and moderate sweetness against a combination of minerality and acidity that lets the varietal shine. – Abv: 10% |
