Vinos en Voz Baja (whispering wines?) is the project of Carlos Mazo in Aldeanueva de Ebro in what used to be known as Rioja Baja but has changed its name to Rioja Oriental (!). In 2021, he has new facilities where he already fermented the 2020s from the 10 vineyards in Alfaro, Aldeanueva, Rincn de Soto, Autol and Calahorra, a total of six hectares in this Mediterranean zone of Rioja where he produces some 23,000 bottles in search of the expression of the place while keeping the freshness. |
