Concentrated flavors of plum, blackberry, vanilla and dark chocolate are layered over a dense, smooth texture. The cool-weather Chalk Hill appellation shows its pedigree in the hints of fig and fine-grained tannins. This is a Cabernet with enough structure to lay down for a number of years and a texture rich and elegant enough to drink tonight with a thick prime rib. 85% Chalk Hill Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Dunnigan Hills Petit Verdot, 3% Chalk Hill Merlot.
