Little yellow plums mixed in at the edges but predominantly white fruit. Extraordinary length too.". That the Lavantureux family has done with this humble village parcel in their hometown of Lignorelles is indicative of their ambition to become one of the great estates of Chablis. A wine that was formerly blended into their village bottling is worked like a premier cru and is now capable of besting many a premier cru from this mighty northern Burgundian outpost for Chardonnay.
