| Description: | From a single parcel planted in 1998 on poor soil characterised by a strong presence of calcium carbonate. Scents of red currant are nuanced by pulverised stone and forest growth. Angular in structure with chalky tannins, it is filled out with fleshy red berries, with traces of rosemary and bay leaf. There is an intense, hunger-inducing savouriness to this wine, which was noticeable in the 2020 annata as well. It makes me crave a grilled rare steak! |
