The Chenin Blanc from the Sierra Foothills is grown in red granitic soil at an elevation of 1400 feet with warm days and cool nights. A very weighty expression of the grape with a waxy/oily texture similar to Vouvray. Dried mango, ginger spice, green banana, orange blossom, raw honey and bitter, citrus pith acidity. |
