| Description: | 96 Ws / 94 Bh. An intense yet elegant red, with fine purity to the black currant, black cherry, violet and mineral aromas and flavors. Structured, yet the ripe fruit, flesh and balance give this an effortless feeling. Builds nicely to a long, complex aftertaste. Best from 2027 through 2045. 300 cases made.--Bruce Sanderson, Wine Spectator. Tasting note: Moderate wood influence is present on the ripe aromas of both red and black currant, spice, floral and vague sauvage hints. There is outstanding size, weight and volume to the caressing but overtly powerful and muscular big-bodied flavors that coat the palate while delivering first-rate depth and persistence on the firmly structured finale.
