| Description: | This tremendous Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is made by Remington (Remie) Jorgensen. Remie joins the team at Ride and Ridden from an impressive series of stages at the likes of Chateau de Beaucastel, Rajat Parr's Domaine de la Cote, and Opus One. Hand harvested at night to ensure cool temperatures, Remie cold soaks the berries to draw color and develop flavors while elevating structure. Fermented in open-top stainless steel tanks, then aged in French oak barrels, 60% new, for 14 months, the wine is bottled unfined and unfiltered. RIDE Napa Valley 2021 shows dark, almost opaque edges with gorgeous notes of blackberry fruit, sage, black olive and shaved cocoa. The mouthfeel has a decadent richness and textural quality with a long and delicious and elegant finish. |
