| Description: | The "Virtue and Vice" is a quiltwork of 57% Cabernet Sauvignon (Spring Mtn), 38% Merlot (Howell Mtn), and 5% Petite Sirah. Aged for 27 months in 20% new French oak to soften the tannins of the bold "mountain fruit". Aromas of blackberry ganache, chocolate, plum, and baking spices are mirrored on the palate. There are some peppery notes with whiffs of herbs and eucalyptus. Only 70 cases made. |
