| Description: | has a thick, pinkish-white, quickly-dissipating, fizzy head, a brilliant pinkish-red, opaque appearance, lots of streaming bubbles, no lacing (but residue from the tomato, clam broth, and salt), and a huge amount of floating red chunks and other sediment in the beer. The solids tend to separate from the beer, causing stratification, if one lets the glass set for a little while. The aroma is of lime juice, tomatoes, beer, salt water, and clam meat. Taste is the same, with an overriding saltiness and some nice, delicate jalepeno spice. |
