| Description: | 96-98 Jd / 95-97 Vm / 93-94 JS. The 2023 Château Doisy Daëne is another ripe, powerful wine, yet it brings a juicy, lively style in its sweet peach, citrus, and orange fruit as well as notes of candied ginger, mint, and sappy floral aromas and flavors. It has beautiful acidity, full-bodied richness, and a great finish.-Jeb Dunnuck. The 2023 Doisy-Daëne, a blend of 80% Sémillon and 20% Sauvignon Blanc, takes time to unfurl on the nose. Notes of lemon curd, dried peach and a touch of marmalade are all nicely defined, developing subtle pithy elements with aeration. The palate is just wonderful. Very harmonious with perfectly judged acidity, it's extremely pure with a tensile finish. This is Barsac in full flight. It will be outstanding once bottled. Bravo! -- Neal Martin.
