Dark, ample and inviting, the 2022 offers up layers of blue/purplish fruit, licorice, spice, new leather and lavender. Creamy and resonant, with terrific persistence, the 2022 is another strong wine in this range from Jérôme Galeyrand. - Antonio Galloni-Vinous Media. Unfurling in the glass with aromas of cherries, sweet berries, plums and spices, the 2022 Marsannay Clos du Roy is medium to full-bodied, fleshy and seamless, with an ample core of fruit fruit, lively acids and a bright, mineral finish.-William Kelley, The Wine Advocate. A fine glowing fresh light purple. A light toasty reduction on the nose. This is rather refined on the palate but builds steadily to the back, with a fresh, attractive and fine tensile backbone, moving to a graceful finish. Drink from 2026-2030.
