Magnien, Stéphane Chambolle-Musigny "Vieilles Vignes"

Magnien, Stéphane Chambolle-Musigny "Vieilles Vignes"

Vintage: 2022
Description: From vines planted by Stéphane's grandfather in the lieu-dits "Athets" on gravelly soils in 1902-1903, the rare and beautiful Magnien Chambolle-Musigny Vieilles Vignes is a lovely combination of delicate fruit and minerals. However, this normally lacy and subtle wine shows lovely ripeness in 2022, making it irresistable to drink young, showing complex and beautiful aromatics and gorgeous sapid fruit. Serve cool, no food required, just contemplate and enjoy. "A ripe and beautifully layered nose combines notes of plum and dark berries with those of earth and pretty floral nuances. The old vines are in evidence as there is notably better density to the succulent and plush medium weight flavors that display excellent length on the firm, serious and powerful finish. This is an excellent villages." Burghound Top Value
