Two Hands Bella's Garden Shiraz Barossa Valley, Australia

Description: | Grape: Shiraz Tasting Notes: Spice, Blackberry, Vanilla, Plum The idea for Two Hands was born in September 1999 when founders Michael Twelftree and Richard Mintz sat at a friend's engagement party and decided it was time to make their own wine and market it on the world stage. The original aim was, and still is, to make the best possible Shiraz-based wines from prized growing regions throughout Australia. The 2017 Bella's Garden is another fine example. It's savory and complex, with medium body, soft integrated tannins and balanced medium acidity. This bold Shiraz hits the palate with power and presence with flavors of blueberries, black raspberries, vanilla bean, plum, baking spices, blackberry compote, ink, iodine, dark licorice, dark chocolate and violet. The finish is long and lingering. Pair with something meaty from the BBQ. The bottled wine is unfined and unfiltered. |
