| Description: | Organically Farmed. 100% Tinto del Pais (aka Tempranillo). "Aromas of blackberry, caramel and rose petal lead to flavors of raspberry, pomegranate, white chocolate, baking spices and orange zest. There is a nice sense of brightness from first sip, with velvety tannins and a licorice-tinged finish." - Wine Enthusiast. This comes from the the edge of the continental Ribera del Duero region, at 2500 ft above sea level. Fermented and aged 1 year in new French oak, which provide for a gently creamy edge to the wine. Mellow and sleek, with an appetizing mineral streak; this is a distinctive style relative to the Arzuaga estate's core estate wines. Ideal with lean red meat and game dishes, or soft cow or sheep cheeses. |
