Philippe & Sylvain Ravier Mondeuse "Saint Jean de la Porte"
Mondeuse Noir
Vintage: | 2018 |
---|---|
Description: | Tasting notes Very pleasant nose of red berries. On the tongue, the fragrance of blackcurrant is recognizable. This wine has a characteristically Mondeuse finish - it's slightly sharp. Producer notes A true red wine paradise, the villages of Saint-Jean-de-la-Porte and Fréterive are ideally located in the middle of the Combe de Savoie valley, on the right bank of the Isère river at the foot of the Bauges mountains. They overlook the valley with stunning views of the various mountain ranges that crown the region. Their hillsides provide an environment conducive to creating an unforgettable vineyard and incredible wines!. Food pairing The Mondeuse will impress when paired with small game, lentil and sausage stew, red meat and alpine cheese. |
