Rye Whiskey was a hot commodity for bootleggers during prohibition, and its spiced, fruity notes make it a perfect complement to our wines today. Sourced from prestigious vineyards in Sonoma County, Simi Rebel Cask has aromas of brambly blackberry, cardamom and spice with succulent flavors of blueberry, blackberry, and dark chocolate, with warm toasty notes, firm tannins and a spicy finish. Pair this red wine with grilled meats or vegetables, rich cheeses, or enjoy on its own. For best enjoyment, place in fridge for 20 minutes prior to serving. |
