Most of the fruit is sourced from vineyards located in the south Tyrol areas of Appiano, Caldaro and Mazzon at elevations of 984-1,640 feet There are three quality levels: the Classic Line - archetypes of their varietals and appellations with outstanding price/quality ratio; the Cru Line - unique terroir-based wines from extraordinary single vineyard sites and Sanct Valentin - the top tier wines from rigorously selected grapes. Wine maker notes Respect for the grape is the top priority, too: nothing is more important than accepting the particularities of the individual vineyard sites and the different grape varieties.Exceptional, fully ripe grapes are a prerequisite for high-quality wines, and they are pressed with meticulous attention paid to different vineyard sites and differences in quality. Only through individual vinification can the unique terroir be emphasized and highlighted. The wine grows towards full maturity in stainless steel tanks and oak barrels. Technical notes 100% Pinot Grigio, sourced from vineyards planted around Appiano and Caldaro. The wine underwent partial malolactic and was aged in stainless steel tanks. Food pairing Pair with summer salads, grilled or baked fish, cold roasted chicken, hummus and other Mediterranean specialties.
