Vintage: | 2013 |

Description: | Alexander Valley is an excellent region for growing Sauvignon Blanc, so it's no wonder that owner/winemaker David Rossi chose this wine district for sourcing his fruit. Located in the north-eastern corner of Sonoma County, the Alexander Valley is home to a diversity of soils and climates that distinguish it from any other neighboring region. Fruit for the Cloisonné 2013 Sauvignon Blanc was carefully selected from a number of distinguished vineyards and the result is a bright, aromatic wine with great acidity and freshness. Aromas of grapefruit and guava complement the expansive palate with layers of lychee, papaya and a hint of lemongrass and green apple. This wine was fermented in a combination of stainless steel tanks and older French oak to maintain the explosion of flavors and its crisp, energetic style. Read More. |
