| Description: | Made from 50% Syrah (neutral barrels), 40% Grenache (stainless steel) and 10% Mourvèdre. The grapes are from the region Faugères, located in the southern-most part of Massif Central in brown schist soils, hence the name cottebrune. A fresh, well-balanced wine with stewed mulberry, figs and molé. The texture has a smoothness with earthy aromas and a weight that is light, but not thin. |
