| Description: | Vineyard/Cellar Stats: Certified biodynamic farming (EcoCert); volcanic soils with 35% quartz; de-stemmed, then fermented and aged in stainless steel for 6 months; bottled unfined/unfiltered with minimal added So2; 12.5% ABV. Like this pretty Sauv Blanc, which has all the Sancerre feels: brightness, punchy citrus, and minerality, with approachable, not-too-puckery acid and a softer version of those famous green notes. But unlike Sancerre, the fruit is organic, added sulfites are very low, and the price is extremely affordable. This is happy juice for sunny days and spring afternoons to come. |
