| Description: | Made from 100% Catarratto, the grapes are from Northwest Sicily, they are picked early and allowed to soak on the skins for 50 hours. Call it an orange wine, a skin-contact wine, or "Cala" which translates to "gulp" in Sicilian dialect, its plain delicious. Tangerines, cardamom, cedar box, orange peels, bees wax and melons, with only a hint of bitter tannins. A purely enjoyable skin-contact wine with a shiny copper tint. |
