| Description: | "From the Morosoli Vineyard come the 2009 Aiken Cabernet. A beautiful dark crimson color with nose of black cherry, sassafras, and creme de cassis. An incredible purity and balance, this wine showed beautifully early, but evolved into something almost other-worldly after a few hours. A black fruited medley led with the black cherry. There was some kirsch, leather, & graphite. Wonderful tannins and seamless balance and structue. Phenomenal Cabernet. Less than 100 cases produced" |
